• SAMBU Fine Chemical has been making efforts to reduce VOC emission resulting from footwear manufacturing as well as to replace oil-based cleaning agents with environment-friendly water-based cleaning agents. As a result, in 1983, SAMBU Fine Chemical developed the world’s first water-based cleaning agent, and made it possible to replace solvents such as DMF(Dimethylformamide), toluene, xylene, cyclohexanone, and MEK previously used for removing residues from footwear part manufacturing equipment with SAMBU’s environment-friendly products such as biogenic series and biogreen series.”
